Introduction to MQ-5 sensor:
The gas sensitive material used in the MQ-5 gas sensor is tin dioxide (SnO2), which has low conductivity in clean air. When there is combustible gas in the environment where the sensor is located, the conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase of the combustible gas concentration in the air. Using a simple circuit, the change in conductivity can be converted into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration. The MQ-5 gas sensor has high sensitivity to butane, propane, and methane, and can take into account both methane and propane. This sensor can detect a variety of flammable gases, especially natural gas, and is a low-cost sensor suitable for a variety of applications.

Electrical performance:
Input voltage: DC5V Power consumption (current): 150mA DO output: TTL digital quantity 0 and 1 (0.1 and 5V) AO output: 0.1-0.3V (relatively pollution-free), the highest concentration voltage is about 4V Special reminder: After the sensor is powered on, it needs to be warmed up for about 20S to stabilize the measured data.
It is normal for the sensor to heat up, because there is a heating wire inside, it will not be normal if the hand is hot.
